Weal and Woe Farm is owned and operated by Katie Beaton and Andy Olson.  Katie and Andy met in 2014 and started farming together in 2015.  For his "day job" Andy is a chief engineer on tug boats, working on the Pacific Ocean for 6-8 weeks at a time.  The other half of the year, Andy is hard at work building infrastructure, working to make the farm more efficient, and generally being the Chief Innovation Officer.  Katie is the full-time farmer, managing the field production and spearheading the cut flower operation.  The farm is also home to three farm dogs: Sneaky Pete, Huck and Meriwether.
